When you first arrive, we will ask you to fill out some patient information forms that will tell us more about you and why you are seeking chiropractic care. (The forms may be downloaded from the website so that you may then fill them out at your leisure and bring them in with you on your first visit. If you would rather not do this, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill them out in our office.)
Next, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health and any concerns you may have. After this, the doctor will examine you to test things such as your flexibility, reflexes and posture. He will also do any physical, neurological, or orthopedic testing that is necessary. All of these tests are non-invasive and can be done fully clothed.
X-ray studies are very helpful for the doctor to be able to plan the best recommendations for your care. It is usually of great benefit to see inside; this way he knows what has been happening and for how long. If the doctor feels from the examination that x-rays are necessary, those will be taken on your initial visit.
Report and Treatment
After the x-rays are taken, Dr. Marone will need time to review them and determine the best plan of treatment for you. At the end of your initial visit, he will schedule a time for you to come in and get a report of his findings. He will show you your x-rays and answer any questions you may have, such as frequency and length of treatment, and estimated cost. If Dr. Marone feels that care with another provider would be in your best interest, he will let you know that as well.
If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not have a provision for chiropractic care, we offer "budget friendly" plans.
